Create Forms to collect data to manage students
- Click Documents from your Gmail account to open Google Docs
- Use the drop down menu to Create new Form (See below)
- Create your form by adding the questions you want know about your students

- View the spreadsheet of your results from your form
- Download spreadsheet as CSV file
- Import into Gmail Contacts and Create a New Group

Organize with Contact Groups and Labels in Gmail
- Create a label with colors in Gmail

Auto Response/Canned Responses in Email
- First you have to activate Canned Responses in Settings - Labs
- Create a Canned Response in a New Document
- Set up a Filter to Send an Auto Response with your Canned Response
